Eyewear Donation Process
VSP Global’s Eyes of Hope is an eyewear donation program to help the 2 billion people globally who don’t have access to much-needed eyewear due to income, distance, or disaster. In 2017, nearly 12,000 gently used glasses donated by doctors, clients, and members were provided to VSP network doctors and optometry organizations for global mission trips. In addition, large eyewear companies donated 391,000 optical frames and sunglasses to charitable organizations in the U.S. and globally.
